| The Church on Rise Park
is located at Revelstoke Way, Rise Park, Nottingham NG5 5EB - to the rear
of the bus terminus and shops. It stands slightly back from the road, with the main entrance on
private driveway (also used for access to the Doctors Surgery), and
is accessible to wheelchair users.
The building comprises the main
Church Hall, several smaller rooms and an upper room to accommodate the
Sunday School.
Although originally constructed as a Methodist Church, built in
unison with the new Estate during the early 1960's, the Church now
operates as an Ecumenical Partnership, bringing together the different
Christian denominations to work under one roof in areas of mutual
agreement. Duties are shared between Methodist and Anglican Ministers,
also working alongside other denominations.

There is an active Junior Church and also a Youth
Club. The latter was established in late 2006 and soon reached a
capacity membership of 30 youngsters (so their may be a waiting list to
get in)!
Mothers of younger children might also be interested in the Mums and
Toddlers Group.
A more complete explanation of its development, history and
background, can be found by visiting the their own web site. The web site
also carries a programme giving dates and times of Services and
Events
Including the facility to request prayers for anyone in need. |
