Some parks and spaces that are within easy walking distance or just a short drive

The buttons on the left side of this page give access to several  City Council (or County Council) maintained Parks that are in close proximity, and which are within an easy, few minutes, driving distance. (The parks are listed in alphabetical order)

There are also many parks, spaces and designated Local Nature Reserves (LNR's) within very easy reach of Rise Park, the largest of which are Bulwell Common and the Bestwood Country Park and Mill Lakes.

Some destinations, such as Vernon Park, the Forest and Arboretum can be easily visited by taking the Tram and alighting at the appropriate stop. Using the free Park & Ride at Moor Bridge makes this extremely convenient.
